Increase Colorectal and Lung Cancer Screening 

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death when combining men and women in the U.S., impacting more than 132,700 adults who are diagnosed with this devastating disease every year. Screening can prevent colorectal cancer through the detection and removal of precancerous polyps.

Sustain Effective Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalitions

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a member of the Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership (CCCNP), funds comprehensive cancer control (CCC) programs to convene and support cancer coalitions and to evaluate coalition effectiveness.

The newly formed Healthy Behaviors for Cancer Survivors Work Group incorporates the previous work of the Tobacco Cessation for Cancer Survivors Work Group and the National Partners who are engaged in and in support of coalitions working on related initiatives.
