Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Social Media Toolkit 2020

The 2020 Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Social Media Toolkit can be used to communicate about adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer throughout the year or for specific health observances like National Young Adult Cancer Week in April or National Cancer Survivors Day in June. Learn best practices for communicating about adolescent and young cancer with additional guidance on treating AYA cancer survivors as a distinct group with unique needs; acknowledging and addressing psychosocial support needs; emphasizing survivorship follow-up and resources; promoting quality physician training to support AYA survivors; and referring AYA patients with cancer to clinical trials. The toolkit also offers tips for getting started on social media, sample messaging for Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as creative ideas for engaging with your audience on a variety of social media platforms like Reddit, Instagram, Snapchat and more.
